Specific Guidelines
Where Gardens Fall!
• Open to grades K-12. 2D and 3D artwork in all media should be no larger than 9” x 12” matted. • Artwork should be mounted or matted with even space around artwork. Use clean and neat mat or mount.
• Use Artwork Label Format provided by the Division of Social Sciences and Life Skills. All artwork labels must be TYPED. Print two copies of the labels. Microsoft Word Label link http://divisionoflifeskills.dadeschools.net/asp/va_authenticassesments.asp
Look for (Art work Label 2 x 4)
• Attach one label to the back of the work and place another copy of the label with the inventory form. Do not adhere to the work please.
****Important (for all Pinecrest Gardens Exhibitions). Please secure or mount your work on sturdy cardboard or foam-core. The installation at Pinecrest Gardens uses the steel cable system. This system allows for quick changes and adjustments of the displays but makes flimsy or lightweight artworks not easy to install.

Opening Reception: Thursday, November 10, 2011, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
