Your School is invited to participate in the 2012 Youth Arts Day & Music Fest. We welcome your teachers, clubs, or individual students to get involved. The 2012 Youth Arts Day & Music Fest will take place Sunday, May 6th on the main grounds of the Estate from 10 am to 5 pm and features youth visual, performing and literary arts.The Deering Estate at Cutler, Youth Arts Day & Music Fest is a community collaboration celebrating youth artists and creating awareness for the rich emerging resources Miami-Dade County has to offer. Youth Arts Day & Music Fest features a month long visual and literary art exhibition as well as a day long series of youth performance art on Sunday, May 6th. Founding members of the Living Artist Concert Series and Artists in Residence have offered their time and talent to act as volunteer judges to select award winning submissions. Youth volunteers along with park naturalists will host Kid's Zone in the Palm Grove and youth visitors are given free admission to the Estate on this special day.
