The 12th annual Student Artist Showcase will take place in conjunction with the Beaux Arts Festival of Art. This is a wonderful opportunity for middle and high school students to present their work to the arts community. Art teachers submit up to five entries on behalf of their students. Cash prizes are awarded at a reception in the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami on Thursday, January 15, 2012, from 6:30-8:00 P.M.Beaux Arts is going digital! • December 6, 2012 Deadline for submitting digital artwork and entry list • December 19, 2012 Notification of results to teachers • January 9, 2013 Deadline to drop off accepted artwork at the Lowe • January 15, 2013 Student Artist Showcase awards reception; 6:30-8:00 p.m.
• January 16-20, 2013 All finalists’ artwork displayed in the Lowe • January 19-20, 2013 Festival of Art-Outside at the Lowe Art Museum • January 20, 2013 Artwork pickup 4:30-5:00 p.m.
