“Small Works” is the district’s first student exhibition hosted by Miami International University of Art & Design. The exhibit allows students to explore various genre, styles and movements through an impressive array of techniques as well as subject matter. By limiting the size of the artwork to no larger than 9 x 9 x 9, the students, through the study of various artists are challenged to maintain the integrity of the size constraints through their creations of original works of art. Artworks will include both 2-D and 3-D creations and this show will prove to be both inspiring and exciting in its size limitations and open ended themes.
Open to grades K-12. 2D and 3D artwork should be no larger than 9” x 9” x 9” matted
