Felix Varela Art Contest
The Hispanic Heritage Committee and the Felix Varela Foundation invite all students to participate in our 3rd annual Felix Varela Art Contest. This year’s topic is:
Many Backgrounds, Many Stories….One American Spirit
Muchas culturas, muchas historias…pero solo un espirito Americano
All artwork must adhere to the following criteria:
o The artwork can be in English or Spanish
o Any of the following artwork cane be submitted:
o Painting
o Drawing
o Sculpture/ceramics
o 3D model
o Creative writing (poem)
o Computer art
o The artwork must include the students name, ID number and grade level
o The artwork must address the topic and must include Father Felix Varela.
The winning art in English and Spanish will receive
$100 as well as a Felix Varela book collection
All essay due on October 14th to room 157
