Please RSVP to carta@fiu.edu.Largely due to the generosity of Ambassador Paul Cejas, the College of Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) will have over 16,000 square feet of graduate design studios, gallery space, faculty and graduate student offices, classrooms, and music practice rooms in the heart of Miami Beach!
As you may know, I have accepted Dean Brian Schriner's invitation to serve as the Founding Director of the newly formed College of Architecture + The Arts Office of Engaged Teaching, Scholarship, and Creative Activities (ETSCA) and to work in collaboration with CARTA faculty and students in developing my community art practice. ETSCA will be tasked with engaging with the local South Florida community in collaborative problem-solving initiatives and will be housed in this new Miami Beach facility.
