The Education Fund's Art of Found Objects Charity Auction Cover Art Contest

  • The Education Fund is inviting all art teachers to submit a colorful 2-dimential piece of artwork of their own or their students' to be entered into a contest for The Education Fund's 13th Annual Art of Found Objects Charity Art Auction invitation and program cover art.
  • The winner will have their work featured on the cover of each publication, which is distributed to over 7,000 art patrons and collectors. The contest will be juried by museum curators and directors. You may enter up to 5 pieces.
  • The Education Fund is a nationally recognized, non-profit organization with a mission to design and implement initiatives that bring excellence to public education in Miami-Dade County. All proceeds from the auction benefit arts education in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
  • The winner will receive 4 complimentary tickets (valued at $400) to attend the art auction. If your artwork is chosen, we request that you donate it to the auction, for which you will receive 100% of the profits from the sale of your work to fund art supplies and fieldtrips for your students.
  • Note: Please label the back of your work with your name, phone number, school name, and art teacher name.
  • Deadline for submission of your artwork(s) is February 5, 2010 at the following two locations:
